Stepping Over into Love

Intro:

As Grace falls in love again she hesitates, feeling a mixture of excitement and fear. She doesn’t want to make the same mistake as she did in her first relationship. She wants to ensure that she chooses a partner that is more suited to her values and interests. Grace has learnt life lessons since her first relationship and now those lessons are put to the test. It sounds mechanical compared to the first time she fell in love which had her head spinning and her emotions running out of control. The time was right for her to decide to step over or step away. I’ve met a man patient and kind

Loving and thoughtful

Independent and strong.

I’m cautious to accept his love and trust

I’ve been vulnerable in love more than once

This time I want to make sure

Love will be true and mature.

So far his actions have proven to me

His trustworthiness and honesty

He reached out to me unselfishly

Showing his love and acceptance of me.

---

I have to surrender or I’ll never know

How our love might blossom and grow.

---

I’ve thought about this long and deep

Now I’m ready to explore love with him

A deep calm has filled my heart and mind

With my decision to love, we step over the line.
