This poem is about everyday love between family, friends, and work colleagues, no matter what the age difference. Beverley Joy
In silence, love speaks out loud
Seen in our eyes and felt with our touch
An unspoken language for all to hear
The language of love is interpreted.
Sometimes we run and lose
Sometimes we sit and win
Sometimes we walk tall
Sometimes we trip and fall.
It’s ok to be gentle
There’s no need to shout
Or make waves
Nor live out loud.
To those we meet
Form friendships with
We’re comfortable
To be ourselves.
To those with whom we disagree
And cannot form a friendship with
We give them space and walk away
Accept that we have differences.
Share our love
Show we care
Laugh and talk
Aim to be fair.
