The Poetry of Love

I have compared love to different elements of nature and music. Beverley Joy.

Through the decades of our lives, we treasure songs that resonate with our experiences of love.

We remember the lyrics for a lifetime. How the notes of the song strum up and down our hearts,

Creating a melody of warm excitement

We never want the song to end.

True love is not bound by the physical body.

It transcends time and space, things seen and unseen.

Like roses bloom, so love blooms

Oh, how we delight to drink in the fragrant flavour of our loving relationships

And feel refreshed as we breathe in the aroma of being loved and loving in return

True love heals and soothes our hearts and lifts our spirits to heady heights.

I love you unconditionally

Up to the moon and stars

Down to the ocean floor so vast

As far east as you can chase the sea

As far west as the harsh thirsty desert

You cannot escape my love.

Love is the breath of poetry

Our emotions beat with the rhythm

Our thoughts sync with the rhyme

Our touch ignites love’s poetry within.
